Mafia is a social deduction game — a hidden role game where players receive secret identities and must figure out who's lying through discussion and voting. It's the 1986 original that spawned the whole genre, including Werewolf.

How many players do you need for Mafia?

Mafia Night supports 4 to 16 players. The sweet spot is 6–10: enough suspects to create doubt, few enough that everyone gets heard. The app automatically balances the number of Mafia to your group size.

Do we need a narrator or moderator?

No — that's the point. In traditional Mafia one person has to sit out and narrate. Here, each phone privately handles roles, night actions, and votes, so all players actually play.

Is it really free? Do I need an account?
